Problem

This brown marble bench located in a homeowner’s shower in Escondido, CA was cleaned with the wrong chemicals, causing significant damage as you can see in the BEFORE image. The luster of the marble had virtually disappeared, and a film encased the bench area.

Solution

Our technicians evaluated the marble bench and decided that honing the stone by hand would be the best course of action. We polished the marble to its original finish and then sealed with an impregnating enhancer sealer to bring out the inherent beauty of the marble.
