The damage to the travertine is obvious in this image we took before we did any work.

After honing and other travertine restoration processes, this shower looked brand new again.

Travertine resurfaced, polished, color enhanced

Location : Escondido

Problem

This shower in Escondido had been damaged by CLR, a type of cleaner that is not safe for stone. Many homeowners do not realize that most bathroom cleaners will damage their stone.

Solution

We were able to save the shower by resurfacing the stone and polishing it. We also applied a color enhancer to darken the stone. The homeowner was very happy that there was a solution other than a costly replacement.
