St. James Historical Property

  • Quarry Tiles Need Restoration
We snapped this image of the dirty tile floor when we first arrived. It was in desperate need of professional attention.
  • Quarry Tiles Before Restoration
This image was taken after we cleaned the tile, but before we applied grout color sealer.

Problem

Saint James Episcopal Church located in the heart of downtown La Jolla, California, is a historical church that dates back over 80 years. The church asked us to restore the floor after decades of wear and improper cleaning.

Solution

First, we cleaned and power-washed the tile and grout. Then, we repaired and color sealed the grout to match the tiles in the chapel. Finally, we sealed the floor with five coats of low-sheen sealer.
